BIRCH FLOORING GRADES

Select: Uniform, light color. Very few knots. Any knots are small or light in color.

#1 Common: Colored grain and tight knots combine to provide definition and character.

General Run: A mixture of both Select and #1 Common grades.

Birch Flooring Sizes: 21/4" X 3/4", cut in random lengths up to 7 1/2'.

Birch is comparable to Red Oak for hardness and durability

 

FIR FLOORING GRADES

Vertical Grain: Clear Quarter Sawn fir.

Knotty: Rustic with large knots. Does not provide super smooth finish.

Fir Flooring Sizes: 21/4, 31/4, and 51/4 X 3/4, cut in random lengths up to 71/2'.

Fir has a long standing reputation for beauty and durability.

Your flooring will be shipped to you in nested bundles.

One bundle of 21/4" contains 26.75 square feet.

One bundle of 31/4" contains 30 square feet.

One bundle of 51/4" contains 31 square feet.
